Expedition to the wild nature of the “Green River”

More and more travelers and tourists are looking for wild and exotic places for new adventures that are far from roads and civilizations. Kyrgyzstan occupies a great position, where wild unexplored nature has been preserved, which attracts lots of tourists and scientists. Kyrgyzstan is far from the main tourist centers and has many unknown wild places. It has a very successful reputation – a mysterious and exotic country: the untouched beauties of the Tian-Shan Mountains, the unconquered peaks and unexplored canyons and caves. Here are alpine pastures, horse breeders living in yurts, former nomads, mysterious and alpine lakes attracting everyone, flooded ancient cities and traces of the Great Silk Road. Some territories that are adjacent to the border with China for a long time were closed to local residents, tourists, and especially foreigners. A wide strip of the border zone during the USSR passed along the border. This circumstance made it possible to preserve vast territories in a state of obscurity and wild nature. Such areas include: the Ak-Sai valley and the Kokshaal-Too Range (Southern Tian-Shan); \ Barkaldoy Range (South Tian-Shan); Korumdy (Pamir-Alai), where the factor of wildlife can be the main motive in deciding where to conduct new research and your vacation.

The purpose of the expedition: wildlife research, observation of animals, photography, personal tests, test of character, study of alpine vegetation, geological observations, fine arts, etc.

The Kok-Kiya River translates from Kyrgyz as “Green River”. This expedition was made in order to learn to survive and learn more about nature. We plan to explore areas that have not been studied by scientists, geologists, biologists, speleologists, and other specialist researchers. During the Soviet Union there was a frontier zone, which extended more than 200 km into the country. There are no roads, people or civilization. These are the best wild areas in Central Asia to conduct new research and test your strength as well as the best places for school outdoor. Besides, this expedition is for teaching children autonomy in the wild.

The duration of the expedition is 21 days. Groups can be up to 30 people. We plan to set up two camps, one of them in the northern foothills of the Kokshaal Range, the other at the foot of the At-Bashi Range, near the Chatyr-Kul alpine lakeDetailed information about the area

The surroundings of the limestone mountain Sary-Beles are still not known. Here you can discover new types of fauna, find new caves and explore the alpine flora. The route crosses the mountain range, starting from Chatyr-Kul Lake, and ends in the vicinity of the ancient Tash-Rabat caravanserai, which is located at the northern foot of the range. By noon we will reach the Naryn city, where we will make a stop. Then our route will continue through the highlands of the Middle Tien-Shan.
