This tour operates all year round. Issyk-Kul is beautiful both in winter and summer, there are as many activities in winter as in summer. However, the reason is that in winter, there is practically no snow in the western part of Issyk-Kul, so it is dry here, and interesting sights are easily accessible. During the trip, you will see different natural landscapes of the northern and southern coasts of Issyk-Kul, interesting natural formations and phenomena, picturesque gorges, ancient petroglyphs, historical monuments. Most importantly, you will hear the wonderful stories of a professional guide about the history of the formation of natural objects, such as Lake Issyk-Kul, Kok-Moinok canyons, Tien Shan mountain ranges and archaeological antiquities at the bottom of Issyk-Kul.
Day 1. Bishkek – Kok-Moinok – Ak-Olong – Kaji-Sai
During the trip, we will visit the picturesque canyons of Kok-Moinok. Then we will move to the rocky desert of Ak-Olong, where we will see 30 cm syenite crystals that make up volcanic hills. Further, along Issyk-Kul lake we will head to Kaji-Sai. Along the way, we will make stops in the picturesque places of the southern coast for photo shoots. Overnight at the guest house in Kaji-Say.
Day 2. Kaji-Sai – Dzhety-Oguz – Ak-Suu – Karakol
In the morning after breakfast visit to the eolian valley “Skazka”. Further way to the east, to the Jety-Oguz gorge. Excursion in the gorge. Lunch in Karakol. Further Ak-Suu gorge. In the picturesque gorge in special pools you can plunge into the healing mineral waters. Further descent to Karakol. Excursion around the city – architectural monuments of the 9th century. Overnight at the guest house.
Day 3. Karakol – Semyonov Gorge – Cholpon-Ata – Bishkek
The path lies along the eastern and northern coasts of Issyk-Kul. On the way we will visit the Semenov Gorge. Next, Cholpon-Ata, where we will visit the ancient petroglyphs – a UNESCO cultural heritage site. Then, on the way we will see the geological layers formed on the site of the ancient lake Issyk-Kul. Return to Bishkek.
